TEACHING

I hold a BA Hons Degree in Mixed Media Fine Art and a PGCE in Art & Design Teaching as well as a diverse background in costume design and styling, and experience running a small business.

Although teaching has always been a passion of mine, I felt the need to follow my own creative path and focus solely on running my business. However, when I moved to Surrey, I had the privilege of meeting the incredible Ellie from Surrey Art School. Ellie’s core values in art education deeply resonated with me, and from there, the magic of art and friendship rekindled my passion for teaching.

I now teach two days a week at Collyer's in Horsham on the BTEC Art & Design course, where I find great joy in helping students along their creative journeys and watching them flourish. Our course is highly regarded, and we consistently achieve excellent results year after year. I’ve finally found a fulfilling balance between running my own business and teaching, and it’s been an incredibly rewarding experience.

Teaching is truly a passion at the core of who I am. It’s hard for me not to share the creative process, and I’m excited to offer upcoming tutorials for you to enjoy. If you have any specific requests, feel free to reach out, or we can arrange a Zoom call—I’d be more than happy to help.

I’m also offering in-person 1-2-1 sessions and group bookings in Dorking by application. With my kiln set up, I’ve started recording downloadable tutorials, so keep an eye out for those, or sign up for my mailing list to stay updated on new content.

Skills

I am passionate about 3D techniques, even my sketchbooks are hard to close where layers of RELIEF, colour & texture have been added.

I love texture, colour & form, although colour is limited in my casts you will see hints of this in my refashioned jewellery range and abstract painting. I have a broad KNOWLEDGE of fine art skills due to my degree in Mixed Media Fine Art & my teaching background, I also studied costume design which is also evident in my large jewllery designs. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

I can cover fine art, Graphics, ceramics, ILLUSTRATION, branding, photography, printmaking, design technology, fashion & Costume, fashion Styling, and more. If I am unable to help with a skill or PARTICULAR area I can pass you onto a specialist from my contacts within the small business industry .

I can even offer support for GCSE, A level, BTEC or higher education on a 1-2-1 basis.

I run the start up section of super seconds festival and hope to continue to nurture this venture in supporting budding small BUSINESSES on their creative journeys.

I offer 1-2-1 sessions with small BUSINESSES, start ups or creatives wanting me to take a look at their business with fresh eyes. I am proud to be a dyslexic thinker and this allows me to come up with new and original ideas or different ways of thinking that you may have not thought about.
